Horse trekking in Cumbria

We're a riding centre that offers a variety of horse treks across the Scottish Borders. From individuals to group bookings, we can cater our experiences to fit your needs.

During these experiences, we offer off-road hacking through the beautiful quiet woodlands along the Scottish border. We are lucky to be surrounded by hundreds of miles of forests and woodland allowing for picturesque scenery and photo opportunities!

We welcome individuals, couples, groups and families who want to come and enjoy our beautiful countryside . We have different packages to suit different abilities and are open all year round, including bank holidays, school holidays and the weekends.

Our riding centre is located in the Cumbrian countryside and at the bottom of Kielder National Forest.

For those booking hacks for the more advanced rider (trotting and cantering off lead rein), an assessment will take place in the arena before the trek begins to ensure the safety of both the horse and rider. We do withhold the right to remove a rider from this experience if we believe it is not safe for the individual to participate.
